The deadline for compliance (requires a 30-day stress test, so it's really one month earlier) is 31 December 2023. It's a hard deadline. On January 1st, non-compliant banks will be eliminated.
Oh... this blog isn't up-to-date. I became the proud owner of a bank. WaterStone bank. ... Long story for another time.
Relevant for this topic: My bank is Basel III conform, and they're running their stress test now.
My top of the pops employees include two folks from the BIS, and the programmer of the only (currently) available tools to achieve the required transparency, security for reporting, fraud management, risk-mitigation, and security.
